Ileana Simone Bell is a Detroit-based fine artist whose oil paintings explore the emotional, spiritual, and psychological landscapes of Black memory and being. She also leads The 126 Project, a faith-based initiative for artists exploring creativity and spirituality.

Artists Stefanie Cohen (she/her) and Corey Gearhart (he/him) have been merging, embracing, disrupting, fragmenting and mending our backgrounds, educations, and decades of training in performance art, theatre, dance, somatics, sculpture, writing, drawing, and so on, since 2010. Since then we have presented our performance works and site-specific installations — exploring the inner lives and fantasy worlds of sometimes overlooked objects and activities. We teach workshops in somatic movement and devised performance in studios, festivals, and academic institutions; and have curated performance through our space, Light Box in Detroit.

Sarah Jane Mark is Co-Founder of the Selah House, alongside her husband, Billy Mark. She is a fiber artist & fashion designer dedicated to the Slow/Sustainable fashion movement. She has founded Slow Stitch Detroit, a creative incubator & slow fashion maker space providing support for residents & community education. Sarah being rooted in her neighborhood & loves to bike to Slow Stitch, only a few blocks from Selah House.
